Tänä vuonna vietin perinteisen mökkijuhannuksen sijaan kaupunkijuhannusaaton Tukholmassa kukkaseppeleiden ja juhannusbrunssin merkeissä. Brunssi koostui katkarapu-feta-avokado-salaatista, melonista ja kinkku-juusto lautasesta oliivien kera.
Emme olleet suunnitellet paljoa etukäteen, mutta kuten yleensäkin spontaaneimmat ideat ovat niitä parhaimpia, joten juhannusaatto oli mitä onnistunein. Linnouttauduimme luokseni host-perheeni katon alle, koska Tukholman sää on näinä päivinä ollut hieman harmaa ja pilvinen. Se ei kuitenkaan menoa haitannut, sillä kun kaksi kovaäänistä hölösuuta pääsee saman katon alle, ei jutusta meinaa tulla loppua. :`D
This year I spent a city Midsummer`s eve with flowers and a brunch in Stockholm instead of going to the summer cottage as usual. Our brunch consisted of shrimp-feta cheese-avocado salad, melons and ham-cheese plate with olives.
We haven`t planned so much before hand the whole Midsummer thing but as usual the spontaneous ideas are the best ones. We stayed at my host family`s home because the weather hasn`t been so good in these days in Stockholm. Staying inside didn`t matter at all since we still had a lot of fun. When two girls who love talking are together, it means endless talk. :`D
